Lu Holter Competes In BBQ Brawl Season 2 On Food Network
As an avid food sport competitor, Lu has won numerous awards nation-wide in professional cooking competitions, including Kansas City Barbecue Society competitions, Steak Cookoff Association contests, Culinary Fight Club events and the World Food Championships.
Lu has also been found competing on television programs such as Food Network’s “Family Food Showdown” ,"Guy's Grocery Games," and most recently, "Food Networks's BBQ Brawl."
On season two of Food Network's BBQ Brawl, she finds herself on "Team Eddie" (Chef Eddie Jackson) as she dives into her BBQ bag of tricks in an effort to appease the judges. Lu's upbeat, spirited attitude, combined with her mastery of the grill, led to the nickname "The Smiling Assassin." It's a fitting title, as she always has a trick or two up her sleeve.
